Sinharaja Black (Sri Lanka)

Coming from Sri Lanka’s Sinharaja Rain Forest region, Sinharaja Black is a hand-picked, hand-rolled and superior black tea made of twiggy, twisted leaves that give way to a shimmering copper golden liquor. Floral notes mixed with rice paddy hay provide a distinct base. A finale of bergamot orange and chocolate gives way to bee’s honey, making up a colorful bouquet of delicate and refined flavors.

Amount: 2 grams of loose tea per cup of water (a pinch)
Temperature: 212 ̊ (A full, rolling boil)
Steep time: 3 – 3.5 minutes
